An additional model known as the Gatling plasma, made in a similar fashion to the Gatling laser, would also come into use. Two-shot isn't that great b/c it reduces accuracy and the second shot does the weapon's base damage, unaffected by whatever mods you've put on your weapon (like stronger receivers that up damage).ДЇor a plasma rifle you might want to be basic and go for mighty (25% more damage). It's stupidy powerful, but I usually avoid using them unless I just want to kill everything quickly and with minimal use of planning and tactics. Still tho, can clear waves of enemies like it's nothing, and I've used it to bring down mirelurk queens in about 20 shots (it fires relatively quickly too). The only downside is that the explosion can hurt you if you're too close, so it's a weapon you can use at close and mid range (I recommend modifications that increase accuracy and range to make it more focused, because you want as many pellets as possible to hit your target), but never at point-blank range, b/c it'll probably take 2/3rds of your health and might just kill you. Explosive combat shotguns do a stupid amount of damage (each pellet is an explosion and the damage and range both increase with the Demolition Expert perk).
